No, there's no photos yet because I haven't started on it. But I decided I needed a long table that could double as a desk in our library, so that Ella has places for cat beds, where she can make better use of more of the several windows we have in the library, and so I can store stuff underneath it.

It won't be anything fancy, but similar to the desk that I'm using in my office right now, only without the bookcase shelves. I think I have enough lumber left over from the deck and utility shed to make them, except for the table tops, and I think I'll buy some wide table tops from Lowes, or I might use boards and finish it off with ceramic tile because I have a bunch of that left over from when I laid a floor in our camp.

I'll post pictures once I have something to picture.

Just my desk where things happen. :D Not self-made, though.

A neat desk is indicative of a messy mind!

You find it neat, you think I'm messy? What else did you expect? :D

Doesn't the light from the window cause conflict with seeing the computer's screen?

I sure does, especially as this window faces south. But I have venetian blinds (in yellow) plus outdoor blinds which I can adjust accordingly.
