This guy is an expert on international shipping, and he points out a tanker explosion a few hours ago off the Malaysian coast in international waters. It is apparently a member of the "Ghost Fleet: that bypasses oil sanctions placed on places like Iran, Venezuela and Russia. It seems to me that the potential for a catastrophic oil spill from these vessels is only a matter of time. Fortunately, this vessel was almost empty at the time of the explosion, so the oil spill may be small. LINK
