In writing to Dear Abby, and exposing their deepest worries and regrets, it's easy to see the difference between men and women.
No offense guys but this is what women have to deal with. We (women) can ask you and even tell you something and what do you (men) do? something entirely different, and you wonder why we shake our heads and give you the silent treatment.
I guess this shows us where the relationship went wrong. Seriously, this man is writing Dear Abby about his wife cheating on him. The next thing we know that letter becomes about his motorcycle. I hope that when Abby responded to him she pointed this out to him that if he was this unattentive with his wife, and was always putting his motorcycle before her as he did here, no wonder she was becoming bored and looking elsewhere for companionship. I think this letter is very telling about where his priorities are and why his marriage is falling apart.
This reminds me of several jokes. The first being, a man tells his friend, "My wife gave me an ultimatum - it's either her or the motorcycle. I'm sure going to miss my wife!" The other was a cartoon. It shows a two men standing next to a boat, talking. One says to the other, "I let my wife name her". On the boat is a sign that says "For sale".
"He's just not that into you..." .. The scene from the TV series, Sex and the City, that inspired a book and a movie by the same name.
