Okay so I did some studying and I found a lot of, could be, dead ends. Dead ends because if a convention were to be recognized, the pre-stamped agenda could be "delegitimized" by one or more unfaithful representatives from their states as MIGHT be seen in the Philadelphia convention of 1787.
And another because.........The word Might is because different historians tell different stories and to tell the truth, without a heck of a lot more study I can't tell if the representatives were faithful to their individual soverenties or not, ergo runaway or not.

The very best thing I can think of is if each state manadates a HEAVY fine upon any representative who does not carry each agenda as approved by the state. Heck, each state would almost have to have an independent vote on the criteria before picking a representative. That, would indeed bring forth a unrecoupable financial burden to each state and I'm sure that it would be a deal breaker.

A person could write a book about how to de-legitimize an entire country by some of the stuff I have been researching. New York almost did by not adopting the preferred version of the Constitution until 1790, a year after it's ratification.

I'm not giving you a like because I understand any of it, because I don't
;) But because it's folks like you, and others here, that go above and beyond to study, and learn about this stuff will always have my vote;)

They [the power people] have been calling Trump every name in the book and it did not work. Now they claim fake news is responsible for Trumps election it did not work. Finally they are using the CIA which has done regime changes all around the world their truth is questionable like weapons of mass destruction. The FBI, NSA does not agree but that will be ignored by the ignorant. This is the last ditch effort from Obama

I wish it was the "last" effort of anyone to try and rob "we the people" of our President Elect:( Honor and respect for our Flag, constitution, is missing from so many in our country. They don't want to hear even the "word" God, or see it written anywhere, but they push, no SHOVE their "beliefs" at us. They say we are liars & cheats, but are openly being proved every day, more and more, crooked and corrupt, wanting only for themselves. It's all about "I" or "me" not about we:(

Weird world they now are saying that the Russians hacked the election. They say they did not hack the voting machines they did not do mind control of the people who went and voted one way or another. No they claimed they hacked the DNC, Hillary’s e-mail, and Podesta. These were only put out by the alternative media who were going to vote Trump anyway. No one said that these were not true so if are true it means if you learn the truth you are being controlled? If Russia had hacked which they did not to let us know the truth what would be wrong with that.

I wish they'd shut the hell up. I can clearly see where the term "bleeding heart liberals" came from now.

Once you think it through, none of the allegations make any sense, but they are counting on the knowledge that their base doesn't think things through.

I don't expect the electoral college to change the outcome of the election, and I think they know that it won't. Probably, the electoral college hype is about delegitimizing Trump's presidency. Apparently, the one Republican elector, a paramedic who wrote the column for the New York Times, I think it was, about being unwilling to cast his electoral vote for Trump, is not what he claims to be.

I haven't looked at the online news yet but I'm sure there's links to it, but I am hearing on the radio that almost nothing he has said about himself is true. He claimed to have responded to the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks with a Texas fire department, but the Texas fire department says that the wasn't employed by them until a month after the 9/11 attacks, and that they never sent anyone to the Pentagon or to New York City. He also made a lot of other claims about place he has worked that have turned out to be false. Apparently, while he is certified as a paramedic, he has been mostly unemployed. He has also hired Van Jones, a long-time Democrat operative, formerly with the White House Council on Environmental Quality under Obama, to handle his public relations, and I am thinking it is unlikely that an unemployed Texas paramedic would be likely to be able to afford to hire a publicity firm so, while this guy may be a Republican elector, he is obviously a puppet for the Democrats.

I don't like that Obama seems intent, for purely political reasons, to cause problems between the United States and Russia that he will then leave for Trump to. have to deal with. I truly don't think, and have never believed, that Obama has ever had the best interests of the United States at heart, and that his goals have always included lowering our standard of living, reducing our expectations, and eliminating as many of our rights as he could.

If I'm understanding this, their "base" ought to be insulted, LOL!

I've felt the same way about O'bama, seriously, ever since Joe the Plumber tried to talk to him. There were other things, but that really had an effect on me. I mean that, one single chance Obama had to talk to a regular guy, and he blew it in my opinion. Been on my s__t-list ever since.

Just hope they don't put a false flag and try to blame Russia or Iran before Trump gets in and say we cannot have Trump because we think he has links to Russia. I hope people are smart enough to see through it and have the power to stop these idiots

In every Trump rally, the theme song was You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones, particularly the refrain:

You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you might find
    You get what you need

What do you think the message was?

I love that, and I've believed for a long time that what I "want" and what I "need" can definitely be two, different things. I'll take what I "need" over what I want any day;)

To me the message was you can't get ANYTHING if you don't TRY....and if you get up and TRY (no matter what it cost you)...you will end up getting what you NEED...which just might be nothing but the Courage to stand up against what you don't believe in.

I also think in Trump's case that what he figured out is that if he could get enough people to Try to stand up against what they felt was wrong with their Government...at least some of them were going to end up getting what they wanted and needed...and with enough people trying and backing him to help them get those things...he would get what he needed...the votes to become President.

Okay, I think I finally got my thoughts all out on this even though it took a few edits. :)
