    The Federalist Sept 8, 2021

    The National Archives has placed a link to a Content Warning at the top of every page on its website. This includes the page containing The Constitution.

    Here is one paragraph from that Warning:

    ********************************
    Some items may:
    • reflect racist, sexist, ableist, misogynistic/misogynoir, and xenophobic opinions and attitudes;
    • be discriminatory towards or exclude diverse views on sexuality, gender, religion, and more;
    • include graphic content of historical events such as violent death, medical procedures, crime, wars/terrorist acts, natural disasters and more;
    • demonstrate bias and exclusion in institutional collecting and digitization policies.
    ********************************

    For those who are not familiar with "New-Speak," ableist is discrimination towards those who used to be referred to as the handicapped, and misogynoir is discrimination towards black females. (According to Wiki, the term "misogynoir" was created by Moya Bailey, a queer black feminist.)

    The insanity gets even more insane. Just last June, the National Archives’ racism task force claimed that the Archives’ rotunda, which houses founding documents, is an example of “structural racism.” There is a push to have the Content Warning posted under displays of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, which are located in the [racist] rotunda. In my opinion, this website warning is a step towards that end.

    This is not our government yielding to idiots, it is our government seeking out (and sometimes creating) idiots to hide behind as our government destroys this nation. This is moving towards censorship (and revocation) of our Republic's foundational documents, not through any formal process but obscured by the fog of situational political correctness.

    And [by intent] we can't vote out the people who are doing this because they are Federal employees in unelected positions to whom authority has been unconstitutionally delegated so as to insulate the insanity from our control.

    Congress has allowed this to happen by delegating much of their authority to the Executive Branch, so they as really to blame, but it has happened over the years.
