Cody--do you have a patient portal like MyChart? Usually test results show up in there before you hear from the doctor. (Though sometimes scan results are difficult to decipher. )
Started off a cool 35° this morning the sun is now up I was feeling pretty good was going to do a little cooking when I noticed the refrigerator was dirty I've only cleaned it what I thought was fairly good once since we've been here which is 2 years in December This is a nice looking Kenmore refrigerator With the bottom Large Double glassed humidifier place for produce. So I emptied those out took out the drawers wash those when I realized that the frame that it was in could be removed also and when I did I saw how dirty it really was. So I removed the frame I turn around and just as I started to lay it against the cabinet it exploded I kid you not in a million freaking pieces. There was no I could clean this up myself I called Mark out the garage I said get in here do not bring the dog in. I was just in shock it was in the dog's water I mean every nook and cranny on the floor everywhere and he vacuumed it up after we swept up the biggest portion of the glass. Because of all of this the bacon that was cooking in my small oven pretty much burnt. After we Got all the class up I got out my Swifter With the wet pads And got up some more glass I started putting the refrigerator back together and cleaning as I go I cannot tell you the pain that I am in I am now on the heating pad I have taken something for pain and I am ready to tell the world To take a flying leap I might not do anything for the rest of the day. You say I have to vent because as you know I can no longer smoke after 7 years being free and the bottle of gentleman's Jack from 2022 still sits in the same place so y'all get the brunt of my irritation
Peak: I helped my neighbors dig out their septic tank so they can get it pumped. I have something like this for my front end loader that made pretty quick work of it without breaking our backs: We got a discount for them pumping my tank, too, on the same trip. Pit: My tank has been uncovered for a while because I was having issues, so it's mostly dug out but has thick thatch growing on top of the covers. It's pretty deep, too, and I did not feel like messing with it after working on theirs. If I don't do it tomorrow, I'm gonna be working in cold weather. As it is, it's gonna be under 20°F when the guy shows up to pump them.
Peak: I dug out my septic tank (both sides) so it can get pumped. I had to call my neighbors for help...it was too much for one guy. Pit: Not only am I sore, but the root intrusion into one of the chambers is back. There's a nearby large tree that's gonna have to come down. Not only is it gonna cost $$$$, but I'm not sure if the stump will continue to put out roots (meaning I may have to have it removed.) This might be a good excuse to get a stump grinder for my tractor.
Peak: We got our property tax bill and school tax bill this week and they are both way lower than last year. I guess those tax cuts that Abbott promised were actually a thing. All those stupid democrats hatin' on Abbott when he is gettin' it done in all kinds of ways. Pit: Well pump at MIL's place stopped working yesterday. Husband met the well guy over there today to see what the deal is. Another Peak: Well issue was a thrown breaker. Not sure how that happened but OK. (Footnote: Brother-in-law is a moron who couldn't check the breaker himself so called us as usual.)
My real estate taxes went up 8% this year. I can't complain too much. My property is large enough to put it in Land Use, so I get a hefty discount. As it is, the taxes on my 51 acres in this rural county are 1/4 (or less) of what the taxes were on my 1/3 acre place up north.
Follow up... Peak: My neighbors came over to help me get rid of the root in my septic tank. There was really nothing there except for a root ball near where the main line enters the tank. I knocked it loose, dumped some copper sulfate on top of it, then tossed more copper sulfate around the walls of the tank where it looked like there were tiny roots at a seam. Pit #1: My tank should have been full when the pump guys went to suck it out and it was down to half-level. I really think there's a leak, but there is no evidence of it inside the tank or in the ground surrounding it...there's no liquid and the grass is not the same as is evident over the drain field. So perhaps things are OK. The pump guys told me that you can have a fresh layer of concrete applied to the outside. Once I take that tree down, I'll be digging the stump and LARGE roots out, and might get a better look at things. If need be, I'll dig around the tank for the concrete work. That should save the bulk of the cost...if required. Pit #2: This daggone tree still has to come down: My neighbor and I are gonna do it. You can see it's not got a large circumference...it's just a series of smaller "trees" rising from a common trunk. I need to get some blocks from Harbor Freight because there's a couple of them leaning towards the house and that are tall enough to reach it. We want to do it before spring hits.
Yeah, he has a YouTube channel that helps with smaller tractors. When you mentioned stump grinders, it brought him to mind. He did a test of several grinders I think.
In the vein of "Are we being spied upon?" the other day I got an email with a special deal on a pto stump grinder. $2,300 delivered.
Same here. There's another tree in the middle of my back field I'm worried might be too close to the drain field. It's funny, I'm on 51 acres and am lamenting one or two trees. I was asking for advice on another forum, and learned that there are 24' deep barriers you can install to block tree roots from reaching sewer lines, septic tanks and drain fields. (edit to correct: 24 INCH deep barriers, not 24 feet.) Just get a trench digger (which cuts any roots that may be there) and hammer in the barriers.
