I have one similar to that. It helps some but you have to be real careful not to hurt them.

My Kitchenaid dishwasher is supposed to be installed tomorrow, "between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m."). It is still showing a status of "ready to be picked up by installer" on Lowe's website so we'll see how this "pans" out. :D

KitchenAid dishwashers have always been top rated.

My last Kitchenaid lasted over 19 years so I think I got my money's worth from that one. I'm just wondering if/when the installer will actually show up.

Well, whadayaknow? The dishwasher installer called to confirm that he will be here between 11-2, so woohoo!! [IMG] I will be sequestered upstairs until he leaves, so I need to go get some coffee and a snack.

You really need to do this.

I installed an exhaust system and undercabinet lights at both ends of the room, and they really make working in the kitchen so much better:

I installed a touch switch as you enter/exit the kitchen, and one by the stove where I do most of the prep work. (That's also my tile work ;))

I installed the round "puck" ones with an individual halogen bulb in each. They are OK, but the sockets tend to be fragile and the bulbs are a pain to replace. I had to buy a backup set on Ebay. I would definitely go with LED. But no matter what style you get, you will really love them.

    Thanks, Lon.

Here's the box for the exhaust system:

The exhaust fan (650 cfm) is mounted on the roof, so it's a real quiet system:

That was a "high pucker factor." I do not like cutting holes in roofs.

It's a slick system. The front of the hood stays flush with the cabinet until you need the fan, then you extend the hood forward and the fan turns on:

Not sure that this "makes my life easier," but I really am happy I found these. I'm sure many of you ladies know how annoying bedskirts can be, but they have been necessary for the "box springs" to be hidden when using a comforter to make a bed. When I got the robot vacuum cleaner for upstairs, I found that the cleaner "radar" interpreted the bedskirt as a solid wall and would not go under that bed unless I tucked the bedskirt up and out of the way.

So I was searching for a solution and found these box spring covers on Amazon. They are a jersey type knit material and stretch to fit most box springs. I think they give a more updated look to the bed and I'm glad to get rid of the dust-catcher bedskirt. This is the spare room where my grandson usually sleeps when he visits, so he will probably like the new look.

These come in many colors but I chose the dark brown to go with the bed frame. Here's the link on Amazon; the cover is only $16. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HNB6MT4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Those look like they would be a lot easier to install than bedskirts, which are a pain to get straight & level.
