I found this Youtube channel that has lots of old black and white movies. If you enjoy the "film noir" style or just the old 1940's vibe you might have a look and see if there's anything you'd care to watch. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOg0aMAXmF3o5m243PxhE5g Last night I watched "The Strange Woman", starring Hedy Lamarr and George Sanders.
I like Tubi and it is free also. It has all kinds of Movies, Documentaries, News Channels, TV Series both old and new, etc.
This was a great movie and its on Y.T. I first watched it on late night show in 1964 [ only had one channel] then my kids enjoyed years later then grandkids. True story of Johanne Strauss.
A couple of nights ago I watched The Night of the Living Dead from 1968. It was cheesy but I enjoyed it.
Thanks for the link, Beth I don't usually like movies that couldn't possibly be true. Watched it for the first time a few years ago. It was much better than I expected it to be. Still a thriller. One I've looked for, for years, is The Red House (1947), with Edward G. Robinson, but couldn't remember the name. I saw it once on Turner Classics years ago. It's on that website.
Closest thing to horror I like was Space Odessy 2001. I have seen a few true storys about crime that was horrible. My most recent favorite movies were Shaw Shank Redemption, Man In The Chair,
We went to Drive In last year it was nice to reminese. We like classic movies especially the ones based on true story or bio's..
The Great Lover and Macho Actor of the early films was not Valentino...It was Francis X. Bushman! However...he lost the Chariot Race to Ramon Navarro in the 1925 Ben Hur.
