Did you follow any in your younger years? Do you follow any now?

For whatever reason, whenever I recognized a trend, I usually ran the other way. I’ve been that way as long as I can remember. I think that’s why my hobbies and interests tended to focus on things that were solo efforts.

Of course. Most people follow trends, especially teenagers who wish to "belong". Remember things like the mullet hair cut or the fashions of the 70s? Even music can be trendy.

I think we all do, but maybe less so as we grow older. It's not always a matter of wanting to be fashionable or up-to-date, either; sometimes it's just the fact that the trends are in our faces, so we can't help but notice them, and the fashions are what's available in the stores, and so on.

Trends cover many things beside fashion. But now nope, not a trending person. Not really as a teen either.

Yeh, I've always been an oppositional little sucker. The more popular something is, the less likely I am to participate. I wonder if I've missed out on anything by not being part of the crowd...
