Unidentified Garden Pest

    A gardener in Tampa Florida while tending his plants came across an unknown creature which some has described as "cute but terrifying".

    Looks like this one (Charadra deridens). Native to Canada and the US (except SW)

    It does look sad i've never seen a caterpillar like that, I wonder what kind of butterfly or moth it turns into?
