Best Buy has a pair of USB outlets for $15; I've often wanted these and am wondering if anyone here has installed them. Here is the Best Buy item: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dynex-2-4a-usb-wall-outlet-2-pack-white/5834701.p?skuId=5834701
We have two USB outlets on a counter electrical outlet plate, but have never used them. We didn't install, the outlet was already there when we rented the apartment. Don't see why they wouldn't work for you.
You might find these more convenient and easier to get, use, and replace if ever needed. No change in house wiring , no electrician needed.
I forgot, we also have a USB outlet on each of our recliners. The recliners are together, with a armrest between them. They are electric and we plug each iPhone into each recliner, to recharge, each night. As for installing one or two, not for me. I'd rather used what Von uses.
I recently bought this outlet extender surge protector with night light and usb ports. Plugs right into a regular outlet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CV9F9HL/
We have some of those outlets, and they work great. Bobby changed out the regular outlets for this kind , in the area near where we have our devices plugged in. It is much less bulky that using those big block chargers, and you can still have full use of the electrical outlet. I have also seen these at hotels when I was traveling with my daughter, so it seems to be an upcoming idea, that is catching hold, because people all have devices to charge up nowadays,
