A caller to a local radio talk show said that when he requested a mail in ballot as a Republican for the June 2nd primary, he was sent a ballot for Democrats. This is what can happen when there is another person between you and your vote. Mistakes or intentional mistakes can steal your vote.

In Maine, someone can walk into the town office and request absentee ballots for every adult in their family. No one is checking signatures when they are returned, and there are no effective means to track whether these people have also voted in the states in which they actually live. Also, our Democrat Secretary of State does not permit town offices to purge voter registration rolls of people who have moved and/or who have not voted in the last couple of decades. The only time anyone is removed from the voter registration roll is if they personally request to be removed or when a death certificate is presented. No one is checking obituaries so dead voters are not generally removed from the rolls. When I checked our voter registration rolls for the town I live in several years ago, we had far more people actually voting than we had people over the age of eighteen at the previous census, and that was before the mill closed and half the town moved. A few people were registered to vote in two or three different addresses. They first registered to vote while living with their parents, then they registered to vote again when they moved into an apartment, and then they registered to vote again when they moved to another house. All three of these registrations remained valid. Several other people were registered with only a post office box listed, which is in violation of Maine voter registration laws, but our Democrat Secretary of Stated does not allow registrars to remove them. Our town registrar showed us the letter from the state instructing them to remove people from the rolls only by personal request or upon presentation of a death certificate.

If you take the time to do the research...mail in voter ballots are definitely not a good idea except for absentee, etc. The Democrats want to use this as a way to cheat in the coming Election...that just cannot be allowed!

I see mail-in voting as an opportunity for EITHER party to manipulate the vote. Voter fraud knows no party line.
