Wars--the two that we are in so far--are heating up in the New Year. Russia apparently launched its biggest attack of the war yesterday involving heavy bombers and large numbers of missiles. The Western media is suppressing the story now, as it looks like the U.S. and even Europe may be tiring of the conflict and are ready for a cease fire. It may have been an attempt of Zelenskyy, but some of his cabinet is in the U.S. on the southern border watching Russians cross into the U.S. Israel (presumed) attacked Beirut and assassinated the deputy chief of Hamas. That is the highest-ranking Hamas figure lost in the war so far and sure to prompt a response form somewhere. Hezbollah has begun significant bombardments of Northern Israel from Lebanon and Israel is now considering a land invasion of Lebanon. They (Israel) are also pulling some of their units out of Gaza reportedly to go to the northern border of Israel, but it is being used as a propaganda victory for Hamas and is permitting Hamas to rest their forces and perhaps resupply as well. Weapons are not reaching either side in the conflict in large amounts since the Houthis have essentially closed the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
