Do you watch your local news on your tv?

We do, but have found out that many that live in this city don't. My wife will ask one of her co-workers if they know about something (crime or whatever) that has happened here and they know nothing. Unfortunately, we live in a city (11 miles south of downtown) that has quite a bit of crime. Very little in the area we live, but up north, northwest, west and east of us, it gets pretty bad. Sure can keep our law enforcement busy. Seems like almost daily, there is a shooting and/or murder in one of those mentioned areas.

I asked my wife last night "will you be glad when we can finally move from here?" and she said "oh yes!"

    I try to watch everyday.

Since I work downtown a couple of days each week, nice to know about road closures and reroutes due to construction.

The local news tells me about upcoming events I might miss on the web.
Being the state capital, they also let me know about upcoming laws that will affect us.

Bad news will always be with us.

No, I don't have television so I don't. If it's important or interesting, I'll catch in in the newspaper, but I don't pay to subscribe one one of those lying rags either.

I watch the local news mainly for the weather forecast.
