I can't quite get my head around this. How the heck can a word pronounced as wensday be spelled so cockeyed? Did they actually pronounce it different in the way back days? If so, why didn't the spelling change?
Yep I reckon it goes back to ye olde times I too wish they would simplify spelling. Words should spell as they sound, makes life easier
