Thanks, Tom. I do not watch televised news, and this was not reported on any of my regular news feeds. As you can imagine, cricket is not a popular sport on this side of the pond. Like soccer/football, I don't think it's well-understood here...and soccer dominates the world sports stage.

If I understand the article correctly, the USA is competing for the World Cup for the first time ever. Pakistan made the finals in 2022 and were world champs in 2009. And Pakistan is one of the 12 full member nations of the International Cricket Council, while the USA is an associate member. This means--like 93 other countries--we are recognised by the sport's governing body but we do not play Test matches. So it all makes this win a very big deal for our team.

Here's a link to a BBC article on this game that's accessible on this side of the pond: Link. I don't know why the BBC videos you posted come up as "Not available in your location" for me...other BBC videos play fine.

    Same link as I posted.

Dont no why one blocked and the other is not.

When im blocked from American news I use a VPN so I can watch your stuff.

Only 10 countries play Tests and they last up to 5 days.

The main one being for the Ashes...England v Aussies.
