Nothing special for me here at assisted living today. Waiting for USPS to deliver a rx med that I am totally out of. There was a Walk for Parkinsons charity event at 10 AM that I did not participate in.I will go to the dining room at 12:30 for a light lunch and then dinner at 5:30 PM. Social activities are still limited until the Virus threats cease, so it's read my book time. My next exciting event will be a Dermatology appointment on Tuesday morning. Me O My--what an exciting life I live here in assisted living.
I am actually going to do something really special this afternoon ! I think that I might have mentioned that my daughter is taking a job in the Netherlands, and she is leaving on Monday, so it is going to be a while before we see her again. She has to have the covid tests to be able to travel internationally , so I am riding along with her this afternoon as we drive up to Tennessee for her to get the required test. It will be a good time to be together, and I am really glad that i can spend some time with her before she leaves. My two sons live out west, one in north Idaho, and one in Eastern Washington; so I seldom see them either. Being able to iMessage them and sometimes we do FaceTime has been a real blessing for me to keep in touch with my family, and now that is what it will be with Robin also.
