It must be how many posts one makes because I see ones with less SOC time served than myself, earning the coveted Vet's status. I am tired of being a popular "Very Well Known" member and would like to fade into the background, as only Veterans can. I have searched the forum for such info but have yet to find it.
I had no idea I was a Veteran until you said something. I, too, have searched and can find no info on this. I thought it might be explained with the Trophies, but nope. Now I want to know how you got Task Force status. Did you make a financial contribution? ps: How many posts do you have? Your Profile is set on Private so I can't tell.
No the task force status was a volunteer thing and since I didn't do anything, I wish it could be removed. Doesn't my posts and likes show under my profile photo with posts I make?
Your Profile Page is marked "Private," meaning you give permissions on an individual basis. What was your project...to see how people respond to "humble"?
Ok, I changed those settings, but again doesn't my date joined, message count, and likes received show under my profile photo? I see it and everyone else's.
Now I can see date joined, message count, and likes received under your profile photo. The data was locked out before. (I'm assuming you do not mean you can see this info under Avatars in the comments areas.) By the way: You have twice as many messages as Tex, and he's a Veteran.
Yes, but Tex has been around over a year longer. I did mean under the avatar which is the same as my profile photo. My status doesn't really matter, I am just curious what the criteria is as I haven't been able to figure it out. I am guessing 2 years or 2000 posts whichever comes first.
I had to change the Forum Style from Default to Seniors Only Club for that data to appear under everyone's Avatars. You gotta keep in mind there are two different styles with two way different "Looks & Feels." I've been on forums where the User could modify those title bars below our Avatars.
I just looked at mine and I'm a vet nut last week i know I was something else so 'm guessing it an age thingy.
I bet you gotta exceed 200 Trophy Points. Al said he just hit Veteran status, and he has 203 Trophy Points. Tex and I have well over 200 Trophy Points. You have 163.
