I recently looked at a menu for a local pizza restaurant their Gourmet pizzas included: Mac and cheese, salad, chicken parmesan, baked ziti, Buffalo, BBQ, and Hawaiian plus many others. I guess I'm old fashioned because I still prefer the plain cheese pizza the around or the Sicilian. What type do you enjoy?
I can do with the hamburger I'm not a big fan of mushrooms or anchovies. I've been told over and over and I'm a fussy eater I don't like to try new things. Enjoy the pizza
From the store or restaurant, just pepperoni with extra cheese. If made from scratch I'm partial to plain old breakfast sausage, with more tomato sauce and not so much cheese.
I like to make homemade pizza; our favorite is Italian sausage, red sauce, and a bunch of veggies (mushrooms, black olives, green and red peppers, onion, etc.) And of course, a ton of mozzarella cheese, followed by a few shaves of parmesan to top it off. If we order pizza delivery, we sometimes like a "Fiery Hawaiian", which has ham, pineapple, jalapenos and a drizzle of hot sauce. Sounds weird but it is a tasty combo.
Thin crust Not cheese overloaded Marinara sauce Meats peppers onions etc. No pineapple or anchovies..
Sounds really good. Ever hear of The Upside Down Pie? A few places by me make it, the cheese goes on first then the tomato source.
I'm not familiar with the upside-down pie, Tony. Which area of the country are you in? I don't think Texas pizza can compare with New York or Chicago. (But they can't compete with TX BBQ or Tex-Mex!! )
I'm on Long Island New York I've always been a pizza lover and I can remember where 25c you got a slice and coke. guess what I'm eating tonight yep Pizza leftovers. I have to figure out how to heat them in a microwave. I just recently moved into a small basement apartment no stove.
Does your microwave have a convection option? Maybe you should look into a small countertop toaster oven to heat things you don't want soggy, or even an electric skillet. I think I'd rather have cold pizza than soggy pizza!!
This is still new for me I agree I do need a toaster oven. I still go home almost every day to take care of my property I have most of my meals there.
