Yeah, convenient for them. When you have no freedom, you are no longer responsible for anything. Seems like we have a lot of that going around.
Well, for one thing ... debt . Now said to be 16.5 trillion dollars held collectively by individuals [households]. Roughly $165,000 per. People just refuse to save, and/or do without until they actually have the money to make a purchase. At the very least have a good amount down ... and work at paying that off ... before buying something else. Do we really need that next shiny bobble ? or that fanciest of fancy new car ? ... etc. & so-on. Personally I do not. But maybe I'm just weird ....... [Be nice now] <grin> There is a local jewlery store that braggs they can get 'afforable' financing on their selection of used Rolex watches ! Used watches ! Folks, if you need to finance a watch ?.... you don't need the watch. There is a commercial on tv that advertises a new GMC pickup truck that has hands free driving. Two questions ... what does that option cost ? And do we really need P/up truck that steers itself ? The list is endless IMO.
BINGO! Best reply so far. All nations basically fall for the same reason, apathy. Tolerance is a two-edged sword.
