2019. I'm past due on my eye exams since I was supposed to have one last year but Covid took care of that. This year I'm immunocompromised and can't leave my house.
Soon. June 8th (I think) - I am supposed to have them checked by an ophthalmologist once a year, but I kinda skipped 2020.
I have them checked every year, including a glaucoma test. My eyeglass prescription gets updated every other year.
At least 3 years, probably longer. Can't remember. Only had them examined when I wanted new glasses frames, and nothing ever seemed to change, even the prescription, year after year. Last time I got the best prescription ever, because the Dr. tested my eyes looking out a window at a sign, instead of a chart across the room. For once, I could drive and read the road signs before I got to them. Don't intend to go back until I can't read road signs again, or something seems wrong. Hope the Dr. doesn't retire any time soon, 'cause I'll probably never be able to talk another one into doing it that way.
I had laser cataract surgery, in both eyes, in Sept 2018. My ending results is now 20-20 vision (perfect). It took lots of eyedrops and patience. Get an eye exam each year around February. Since I'm a Diabetic II, I have to on a yearly basis.
