I enjoy a good venison roast every now and then. If a hunter is going to eat what he/she hunts, then I have no problem with that....but if anyone is just "trophy hunting" then I feel like this...
That IS a beautiful scene in your photograph, @Babs Hunt , and it would be peaceful to have a cabin out there for days when you just want to get away from it all. The mountains are awesome ! That is something that I do miss here in Alabama, we do not have those tall elegant mountains like we had living in Idaho and Washington. My picture for this morning is the Kootenai Valley near Bonners Ferry, Idaho, with the Purcell mountain range in the background, taken by my oldest son on one of his camping trips.
That's a great picture of beautiful scenery too @Yvonne Smith. I miss those kinds of scenes here in Louisiana too. It's home because of my children and grandkids but if they weren't here....I wouldn't hesitate to move to a place where the scenery was much more to my liking.
I just got back from an impromptu trip to the local cinema/movie theatre to see the film "La La Land" It's a musical and stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, my daughter Cathy and I are both great fans of Ryan Gosling so Cathy treated me to an afternoon showing. I was completely blown away by it, what a wonderful movie, I highly recommend it if you get a chance to see it. Both the leads gave brilliant performances and we came out of the cinema on a high, a bit like La La Land....a really excellent feel good movie......
@Terry Page - couldn't view the trailer, said an 'error occurred' I'm sure I heard its a musical - is it ?
A very good morning to you all, It's a damp morning here at 7:00 am and 10c outdoors, I am waking up in bed with the usual cups of coffee and then some last minute packing, and printing our boarding passes before I leave for Bracknell around lunchtime. I have said my goodbyes to my daughter Cathy who has already left for work, another 12 hour shift ahead.... Enjoy your Monday whatever you hope to achieve ......
Thanks for the video Terry, looks 'feel good' to me, so will watch when I can Good morning ! @Terry Page
Everyone Xx Had ear problems past 2 days, this morning the ear is swollen, that's a first ! Will have to see how it goes ............... Wishing you all a good day
'Mornin'. Haven't slept for several nights. Can't even nap during the day. Last time I've been like this was back in the '90's, when I'm was working the midnight shift and taking "speeders" so I could stay awake and keep up. Gonna quit coffee and see if that helps. Freezing rain and sleet for the corn and bacon state last night and today. Hope all my brood makes it through the day safe and sound. Too tired to think much today. Wish I could sleep.
Good morning Ike - I went through that last week, 3 nights in a row no sleep, on the 4th - I could have slept standing up ! So last couple of nights OK - hope you get that much needed sleep tonight, I'll sing you a lullaby tonight @Ike Willis
