The day started well,lolo so I thought. Early this morning, I decided, I should pay online a past due medical bill of hubby.After inserting all the information, it appeared it was not accepted. So ok, i will send a check. Took check to front apt office to be mailed. Went to bank to deposit 2 small checks. The clerk handed me the deposit slip,and after seeing our balance, almost had a stroke. What tha $%$#%? $49.68..seriously. So she prints out all the charges from today. The medical center deducted it 3 times!!Not only that- it was the wrong place. I was beginning to hyperventilate at this point. Drive back to the apt office, retrieve the bill before postman picked it up. Called the hospital billing office(which is wrong place) Oh, it would take 1-2 weeks to get money back. Called bank, short version, have to wait until all three posts, call bank again tomorrow, so they can try and credit or accountant. She did make notes about my call and etc. so hopefully will not have to repeat it all again. I laugh now, only because things started to slide after that, and being hacked off is messing with me . So forgive me @Babs Hunt , but ole Glo socked some Kulha in her coffee, and tried to calm down. Then i get 3 notices via email that so n so company is changing their terms of services- one was 13 pages long. Then Amazon and Youtube are fighting, so after first of the year no longer can get that on Firestick. On and on lolo most of the day with poop hitting the fan. Deep breath- i am alive and everything is going to be alright at some point. I keep playing over in my head something GD said the other day that really makes me laugh. At school, 6th grade sex ed. She comes home and told her mom : Moma did you know the male penis looks just like unicorn poop, except it's not brown .. may have told you this, but needed it again
Forgive you? What for Gloria? If I would have had a morning like that I would have popped open a nice cold beer or poured myself a glass of blackberry wine and destressed too.
I think what Gloria may be pertaining to is that those that profess to be Christians, don't drink or believe in it. Both of my SIL's are exactly that way.
Some Christians do not believe you can drink any alcohol at all. Others believe that as the Bible says drinking in excess or drunkeness is wrong. As a Christian I don't think there is anything wrong with having a drink sometimes. I believe each Christian has to follow their heart on this.
@Babs Hunt ...I apologize,but yes just assumed you were not drinker. But it was a bit early in the day. Actually do not drink much alcohol anymore. I must say it did warm me insides
As you might imagine, my pit for the day, is the passing away of Ina Wonder. The peak is, I have my small Christmas presents bought and to ship soon- well except for one of course. Naturally they could not all ship at once. Another peak was, got $ 42 off in the process! Tomorrow, will keep the car, and finish the Christmas stuff, buying gift wrap and odd and end things. Cold, but the sun is out.
I think all of us could pretty much say that hearing about Ina's passing is the Pit of this day. Yet for me the Pit is balanced by the Peak that I believe she is now reunited with her husband and sons...and I know in Ina's heart that is what her heart desired most of all. So I'm rejoicing for her reunion with her loved ones while shedding tears for our loss of this sweet and loving woman who blessed us all here on the Forum.
Pit : I couldn't go our shopping today as I'd planned..and it was such a sunny day albeit cold... Peak : It's only 3pm but so far my peak has been hubs doing the shopping for me, and me getting 2 parcels from Amazon.. a new bed set... and some new make-up BTW ladies...has anyone seen this website, they make make-up for only mature skins, and it's really excellent stuff, and not expensive either, their lipstick is divine .. and they ship to the US I believe..
