It does look appetizing but to be perfectly honest, I had been involved and partaken in fine dining for so many years (53) that a nice plate of butter beans, ham hocks and corn bread more than satisfies my wants or needs.
I'm with you Bobby..although never a chef like you, but I'm fortunate that I get to eat a lot of very nice meals.... however a ham hock, butter beans & cornbread is like ambrosia to me, must have been my poor childhood... lol
Lon, Another great looking meal! I'm curious about the food offered at breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc... Also to Bobby's point do they offer any basic fare like a cheeseburger or grilled cheese and tomato soup? I like good food but I would still need a few scrappy meals to feel at home.
Breakfast can be anything you like ---all cereals, egg styles, meats, breads, rolls, juices. same at lunch, fresh made soups. BLT sandwich.hamburgers any style, grilled ham and cheese, fries, onion rings monte cristo, all kinds of beverages except alcohol. wines at dinner. Snacks available through out the day in the lounge. All apartments have a kitchenette and residents keep food stuffs that they want in their fridge or cabinet. Another great looking meal! I haven't thought about corn fritters in years! My grandmother used to make them, she served them with maple syrup and crispy bacon.
