Hi Jerry I've just come back to this thread so a bit late - a stuffed shirt is a pompous, stuck up guy whereas 'a big girls blouse' means an overly dramatic guy, a whinger
Patsy, thanks for the clarification. I'm now trying to associate a "big girl's blouse" with the definitions I'm getting for a "whinger". Seems like a bit of a slap at the ladies to me.

We would use the word "whiner." "As nouns the difference between whinger and whiner is that whinger is one who whinges while whiner is one who whines."
