    Hi Jerry I've just come back to this thread so a bit late - a stuffed shirt is a pompous, stuck up guy
    whereas 'a big girls blouse' means an overly dramatic guy, a whinger :p

    I'm now trying to associate a "big girl's blouse" with the definitions I'm getting for a "whinger".

    Seems like a bit of a slap at the ladies to me.

    That actually should be, "off a short pier," however I guess it works either way.
