my homemade chicken burgers on the BBQ... I put them on the grill frozen.. A ton of fried onions to go with the burgers.. Steamed and smashed carrots, steamed cauliflower and broccoli.. S/F jello with heavy cream.. Pot of tea..
I tried my daughters recommendation of vinegar water, my BG went down and stayed down all day, 2 tablespoons of vinegar in 16 oz of water, worked for me. I will take it again today. Diabetes is a liver and vein disease and acidic liquids break down fatty tissue from the liver.
Supper was turkey sausages on the BBQ... Steamed carrots, peas, and cauliflower.. A clementine Pot of tea...... A simple meal but enjoyable..
That time again.... I had some veal liver pan fried in EVOO.. I like my liver on the rare side, not well done.. Annmarie had steamed carrots with butter and we shared a large baked potato.. I bought some different clementines that somehow are super sweet and are red inside... Different for sure.. Pot of tea as usual after supper..
Chicken drums dry marinated and on the BBQ... A mixture of different veggies I had to finish off them.. Steamed cauliflower, broccoli, string beans, ...... a bit of each, .... and a carrot.. I liked those veggies with some sour cream.. Clementine Pot of tea.............. Tetley tea......
Ya know, with all the organic, grass fed beef out there I sometimes worry about liver flukes. I know we have snails in our pasture....
Snails ??? Do you mean... escargot ??? What a delicacy that is ... Bring them on ... !!! I love liver.. I grew upon it and still look forward to having it now and then...
Supper tonight was fish... Fillets in the fry-pan.. Steamed carrots, peas, and some corn... S/F jello with heavy cream.. Pot of tea........
2 Tablespoons of vinegar in 16 oz oz. water for BG, it is amazing how much it lowers my BG. I use Braggs but if I didn't have that I'd use regular.
Vinegar is good for lots of things , I believe apple cider vinegar is partially good as it’s a fermented product I usually have a fresh lemon juice in water in summer but I buy AC vinegar in winter months to drink in water ( the best quality you can get and I brags brand is good ) Heath food shops sell that brand here in Aust @Marie Mallery
Hmmmmmm !!! Whatever works !!!!!!! Fillets of salmon in the fry pan cooked in a lemony buttery sauce.. Steamed carrots.... Steamed string beans ..... peas.... Couscous with herbs... Clementine and a banana.. Pot of tea...........
