DH likes to watch the occasional cooking show and lately he seems interested in Chucks Day Off, a popular chef from Montreal. I've watched him a few times too and I must admit that everything he prepares looks really delicious and, of course, he makes it all look so easy! Another show we watch is Pitchin In with Chef Lynn Crawford. It's a fun and interesting show where she visits farmers, growers and fishermen all over North America. After spending a day or so participating and learning more about the day to day running of their respective businesses, she then prepares a beautiful full course meal for them highlighting their particular food. Although it's interesting to watch these shows from time to time I prefer recipes that are easier to prepare. As such, when looking for new recipes, if the ingredient list is far too long IMO, then I won't even bother trying it! I'm glad too that I still have some of mother's old cookbooks.
We have so many Top Tv chefs here in the UK and many, many Cookery shows......Delia Smith has been the longest on TV..and the most well known , and still remains a favourite for me, because she cooks good ordinary honest home foods ...I like to watch the Barefoot Contessa occasionally, but everything she cooks has so much fat in it, but I still enjoy her shows ... but also on one of our obscure channels we get is A Canadian Chef Anna Olsen, and I like to watch her occasionally too.. I record them and binge watch...
Wow...I remember him! He was funny. I used to watch all the cooking shows on food network but haven't in years since I don't really cook.
@Holly Saunders, We've watched Anna Olsen too and her pastries and desserts are wonderful ... absolutely to die for! @Chrissy Cross Another funny chef that I used to watch occasionally many years ago was Graham Kerr on the Galloping Gourmet show. Apparently he was a favourite of Rachel Ray as well.
Thanks for sharing this Sheldon. I checked it out a little and it looks interesting...I probably will be able to find a lot of recipes to try there.

Yes, she does "down home" cooking for sure. But I have tried some of her recipes and she knows how to cook some good food.
