    I share it.

My youngest granddaughter loves to hear me sing a long.

Yes, listening to more tunes usually works. There is a chance I'll get stuck with one of the new tunes in my head, but it's worth the risk.

I've always found that if I sing the tune out loud for about five minutes, that'll get it out of my head.

Don't try that for middle-of-the-night episodes, though. Makes you very unpopular with your bedmate.

FWIW, "Little Drummer Boy" made the Billboard Top 40 Chart 5 years in a row, 1958, '59, '60, '61, and '62, all in December, by Harry Simeone Choral. Born 1911 in Newark, NJ, died 2005, aged 93.

The tune that sticks in my head is the THEME from the TV series M*A*S*H.
The Secret is to replace it with a tune in a completely different TEMPO!

Songs that get stuck in my head are often annoying ones that I really hate. Rather than fight them, I usually resign myself to letting them run their course, like a virus...
