Hmmm. Good point, Von. That's probably why mine have lasted so well; it hardly ever freezes or snows here, plus my car is always in the garage.
Our wipers would last a lot longer if I could get my wife to quit trying to use them to clear ice and snow from the windshield. I think it's a female thing.
I have tried Rainex wipers, but the coating they put on lasted less than a year. Now for our vehicles I just buy the ones at Costco made by Michelin, they seem to work really well and are under $10 each.
I did check the package for this and I found nothing about cleaning wipers for ice and snow. Not even a 'Please Read.'
