Sending positive thoughts and big hugs to our Holly. {{{{{{Holly}}}}}} I hope things went well today... @Holly Saunders
Bless you both Steve & Shirley (((hugs)) and thank you too Craig, very kind of you ... all went as well as it could yesterday... I'm absolutely worn out today feel pretty rough after yesterday, so I'm just sitting quietly on my computer for now, but hubs had pre-arranged for contractors to come in and install new meters in our kitchen, which apparently will take a few hours and a fair bit of noise.. and electricity and gas turned off.. so when they get here.. I'll go back to bed and take my Ipad or laptop, or even my kindle, and maybe have a little sleep as well if there's not too much noise going on... Thankfully hubs has arranged time off work for him to be here while the work is being carried out...
Super glad to see you are back and in fair shape.. NOW........ Rest is the best way to get better..... Take it easy and let hubby spoil you today... You certainly deserve it... Tell him you are his Princess and you want to be treated like one...
We are getting ready for a bruiser of a snow storm..... I mean ........... A BRUISER ..... It will start snowing around suppertime on Wednesday and snow about 1cm to 1 1/2cm an hour till about Saturday afternoon... NON STOP ... All this with some high winds just to make matters a bit worse.. That's about 60 hours of continuous snowing with blowing snow.. Temperature won't be that bad at -12c during the day and -20c at night.. That is just about seasonal.. You read it right...................... 60 cms of snow ... !!!!
Steve, I just looked up how much 60 cms is. It's about 2 feet. Wow! That's a lot! My advice on how to deal with it...…. stay out of it! But, on the other hand, it will be great for the snow flowers. Hi, Holly! I'm glad that you made it through. Craig, according to my chart that I printed because y'all simply won't be sensible and use Fahrenheit, inches and feet.….. that would be about 72 F to 86 F. It is strange that it would change that much with no wind.
No we are in the 21st Century y'all not the Middle Ages. For those like you I will add F in brackets. I have a new game. "not another one " I hear Shirley saying.
Well... I was wondering if we can trust the weather forecasters.. They are calling for a storm to start around suppertime today and here it is almost 11:00pm and so far..... NO SNOW... yet ... A few times they got us all wound up with a heavy storm and we ended up with just a dusting of only 10cms.. My daughter in Toronto is saying it is snowing there.. Maybe the storm will pass south of us and we will be passed-up.. Holly.............. nice to see you back on here and that you have rejoined the living world... I hope you are in great shape soon..
OK............ It is now almost 6:00am on Thursday and so far we had exactly 2 snowflakes fall and NOT on top of each other.. One here and one there.. Where is that awesome storm they predicted ???.... it is NOT snowing as I write this.. I just got up to go to the bathroom and I had trouble falling back asleep, so I came on here for a few moments till I get sleepy again..
It is now just after 10:00am and there still isn't any snow to measure... Not even 1cm.... I'm beginning to think the weather forecasters are smoking something, but I don't know what...
Evening gamers. Steve is showing clear signs of lack of snow withdrawal symptoms. Shirley sorry bout not getting back to your on the games yesterday.. computer crashed. Australia has been rolling out a new internet optic cable for the past two years and we finally had ours installed late last year. I tell you it is more trouble than the old format.
Well, so far we had about 2 to 3 cms of snow... Definitely not more............. It is now 4:30pm on Thursday.. WE WOULD LIKE ANOTHER 20cms OR MORE .... It just started snowing again but it doesn't look very promising for a major storm..
Well, the storm seems to be over and we got exactly 2cms of snow.. Now, is that what is called a major snow storm ??? C'mon.. Somehow the storm passed to the south of us and dumped on Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal...
