They keep lying to the citizens about SS, it would be just fine had they not constantly used it to pay for other things that they stole the money to pay for and it was illegal to take it but they think they can do anything they like. These things they are paying out of our pockets had another budget legally just for them. You cannot take money from one congressional budget and give it to another pet project as they have been doing for over 60 years. I don't know how they sleep at night, today SS is below the poverty level and they do not give us additional help but more than happy to hand it all over to an illegal who has no business here period. They keep hoping all of us will be dead soon so they can just take that savings and then buy more votes with the give a ways that will be piling up for the sorriest people in the country just so they vote democrat.

People better wake up because if they expect they will be owning a home 20 years from now they should guess again, they won't even be speaking English here in the US. We have complete morons in our government who have no idea what to hell is going on, especially here at home. Every last one of them are accumulating massive bank accounts and property from taking illegal money. They should look up the history of the French Revolution, they are all getting near the breaking point for citizens. I have always believed people can stand a lot of injustice and even stealing by our elected, but seeing their kids do without food or a roof over their heads is a whole different thing. Especially when watching millions come across our borders and they hand out millions to those people. What this halfwit has done to America is not fixable, the nation is already irreparable thanks to one moron who is a common thief and a liar. He alone in two years has allowed double the illegal population to thrive on American tax payer dollars.

No, not yet. He still has a looong way to go before he is THE candidate for the Republican party in the 2024 election.

I agree now, but I got a bit confused when before he actually started campaigning as I thought we might need a backup plan for President Trump. I'm still a Trumper though because I can't deny he doesn't seem to have missed a beat since the bogus vote in 2016. He's as good as he was, hasn't seemed to really age at all, or, change his tune, thank God!

Yep, I don't like saying I'm a Republican, I usually, most often say I am a conservative because I agree, there are too many rinos and yes, putrid "republicans" but they haven't beat out the dems for putridity (is that a word ;))

I have no idea what I am. I seem to have some basic disagreements with all of them. Having said that, I will probably never, for the rest of my life, support anything coming from the democrat party. As far as I’m concerned, they’ve lost their minds and lost their way.

I still refer to myself as an independent, though I'm definitely conservative. Just NOT a republican. And I totally agree about the democrats; I was a huge Bill Clinton supporter back in the day but I haven't voted for a democrat since. (I did abstain from voting for a few cycles, though. :D)

Holy Cow! Joe Manchin has traveled to New Hampshire to meet with groups as he considers a run against Biden for the nomination, but there are rumors he may run a third party bid if he doesn't get Democrat support. Will Biden pull an LBJ and suddenly refuse to accept the nomination as RFK and now Manchin offer alternatives?

That could be interesting. While Manchin has always annoyed me since he's always held up as being a conservative Democrat, while he is almost always there to vote for the Democrats whenever they really need his vote, he still has that reputation, albeit unearned in my estimation. Nevertheless, he would be acceptable to the neoconservatives in the Republican Party, particularly those who fear the real change that might come about through Trump. Overall, I think his perceived negatives are fewer than RFK's, however unfair these may be. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd rather have RFK, but Manchin could be a strong candidate for the Democrats.

This could be very interesting. I would just say neither side should trust him. He swings whichever way will benefit him but I bet he never trusts Chuck Schumer again. :D

The second term is when they don't have to worry about getting re-elected. Trump is who he is and can high rein it to the finish line. I just wish he could change a few things, like wearing duct tape over his mouth. We should send him a poster about having two ears and only one mouth.
There was once a movement called Philadelphia II which would allow the people the vote on things, not just representatives, and having their votes stick.
I know that a lot of voters haven't the sense or the knowledge of a can of tuna fish, we know what we want and don't want. If the wall came to a vote by the people, things would have ended differently. Ukraine war? Department of education, budget cutting items...

I have tried to listen to RFK in several interviews, and I just cannot do it. Whatever speech issue he has is more than I can tolerate. I don't know how he could deal with the debate situation.

Some of that might have been tied to Tucker’s contract obligations with Fox News , and he certainly seems to be helping Trump at this point. I have been watching some of the snippets of interviews that Carlson has been doing with the other GOP presidential candidates today, and it looks like he is basically taking them all down, at least thus far.

Probably the worst was Pence, who stated that he didn’t care about the deterioration of America and Americans being killed from fentanyl and other drugs because it was “not his concern” if elected president.
It looks like Ramaswamy is doing pretty good so far, at least what I have seen, and DeSantis has not been on yet.

Those words are going to haunt Pence. He’s going to spend so much time trying to back pedal that comment. Arrogant idiot
