RFK Jr. is a pretty intelligent guy, and he has a lot to say, but I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I can't listen to him for long. Yes, it's not his fault, but maybe his medium should be the written word. Then again, maybe Pennsylvania has started a trend.

I think the “trend” was started in the White House with Biden and Harris.

I never was crazy about any of the Kennedys ..... but perhaps this one will be different ?

I thought maybe John-John woud go into politics , and take a different approach .... and then.

So, other than being anti-vaccine and an environmental attorney for NRDC, has anyone seen a platform or policies statement from him? I tried searching for a website he might have but all I got was the drivel passing for “news” these days.

I never even knew this Kennedy existed, so now he pops out of the woodwork and wants to be president and I should vote for him?

I remember in a political science course I took, the prof. one day kind of went off. I’ve always remembered him talking about the EGOS the people had that wanted to run for president. (He said it in caps, Ha!) He was basically saying that they all had to be border line mentally ill to believe they were the best the country had to offer for such a job.

He's been on political pundit shows and podcasts off and on for quite a while, but mostly when they needed a Kennedy to say something contrary to progressive Democrat policy, although he's not a conservative. He was a state coordinator for Ted Kennedy's bid for the White House, and he campaigned for Al Gore, John Kerry, and Barack Obama, although he had endorsed Hillary in the primary. Democrats hate him now because of his position on vaccines. Democrats aren't allowed to think for themselves on any issue. He's been involved in several non-profit environmental organizations but I don't think he's held public office. He has been in the public spotlight, although it's likely that CNN or MSNBC viewers may not have seen him in the last couple of years.

Democrats don't hate him. They just think he's got a screw loose when it comes to the one issue. It's one thing to be against something that is controversial at best. It's another to try and push it on everyone else.

I agree, but that's precisely what the Democrats (and many Republicans) have been doing.

The Kennedy clan has been very public about their reasons for not standing behind Bobby. Jr. When he stated recently he wants Sirhan released from prison, even though the man assassinated his father, that was the final straw for many.

Yes, I do know that, as I've seen clips straight from his mouth on the news, him addressing the folks standing before him at speaking events.
