These dynasties are what destroyed our system of government. That and the ability of the congress to write their own payrolls and term limits of 0. Not one of them would be alive today if the same had happened while our Fathers of the Nation were all alive. If you want change then we have to forbid their writing their own checks and a zero tolerance of no term limits or we will always have half wits such as we have today. This moron we have in our white house has his back pockets stuffed with rocks to keep him from falling over face first when he walks. It should be pay raises on performance like any other citizen and a new elected starts at the bottom tier with a raise before he or she leaves office. No retirement !!! that is the most important law which would get rid of the deadwood much more quickly than low pay. These people are so spoiled they look down on us like they own all of us. They should be reminded everyday they work for us, do your job or get the boot.
To respond to your question ..... IMO, no .. the nation / the world is becoming more & more liberal every day. Again opinion, but that is because the liberal-left way,is the easy way. They need not [or at least] do not expect to earn anything .... it should all be handed to them. The more that feeling grows .... the less chance anyone on the right has.
Do we not already have 'term-limits' ? aren't they called 'elections' ? If a politician is doing well, the people vote them back to office. Conversely if the are doing poorly , the people vote them out . If we just pick a "term" and throw them out ? Then do we not chance loosing a good one ? One of our own ... so-to-speak.

We thought that for a while but are seriously considering a move to another state (Maryland is about as bad as Ca). I’m leaning to thinking we might do it. This place now is too big for us, too much work and it would be a considerable savings moving somewhere cheaper. The problem is, a lot of liberals are leaving liberal states too because of the mess they made and then they bring with them the ideologies that produced the mess in the first place.

While again I agree, how would / could we have term limitations ? If a dem is in and doing badly, other than [vote] how do we limit their term ? If we can throw him out, then [they] can throw out the rebub as well. If we are going to 'share' the time, with a change [top-to-bottom] say every 4yrs/6yrs, then the people no longer have a vote. I do not like the way thing are / are going, either but. The fact is the majority of the voters that voted wanted it. {That said, I do think however their was something wrong with the count} But correcting that is no longer even a consideration. IMO, we need to stop PC , and take back over by us [repubs] getting out the vote. And, make damn sure the vote is fair by holding the feet to the fire of those at the slightest hint of cheating are taken down, and kept out of the system ... as in jailed.
It is amazing to me that I can make a purchase with a credit/debit card and my phone will "alert" almost instantaneously that a charge has been made, but the US government STILL cannot hold a valid and accurate election. What the hell.
