I was working with set-ups at Wal-Mart on night shift. We already took down most of school supplies and used a couple of gondolas for Halloween. Black Friday items Christmas was coming in on the trucks but held in receiving. We were more then ready to go home that morning. I turned the TV on brushing my teeth when it was showen. Thinking, it's an ad for another movie, far be it and sick at heart. My one friend at Wal-Mart is originally from Hoboken NJ. Her brother had a good size boat and heard on the radio the all out plea from the United States Coast Guard, boaters wanting to help those stranded on Manhattan meet at Governor's Island. It left the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. He was ready to go...Nothing was ever mentioned I knew of until a year ago. Tom Hanks narrates this documentary, "BOATLIFT, An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience" it's on youtube, very well done.
