Some yes. Mostly I'm working all shifts back in the kitchen and it's getting to the point where it's getting to be too much on me physically with having COPD/asthma. Finally being given an opportunity to move into a different area in our dept that isn't as hard for me but, I won't get as big of a raise which is ok by me. I'm more interested in doing what's better for my health. But for right now we're too short staffed for me to do anything just yet.
Mmm...made myself a cup of coffee with flavored CoffeeMate and a little snort of Vanilla Crown. Very soothing. Been debating on a little dab of it in my morning coffee before work. LOL!
Here's something I don't quite get. Why is it the majority of Senior Chat sites all seem to be trying to match us up? Did they ever think we're not looking for a mate? I just want people to chat with. Not looking to hook up. LOL!
Not sure what you mean...?? I have never seen anything about hook ups here or on SF. Or do you mean other places?
Good morning all. Had to get a little more work done on the car besides the 4 tires so the car got a $1000 more expensive. LOL! Sometimes life is a real kick in the teeth. Working early...not sure I'll be on later. This shift is wearing me out for sure. The Delta variant seems to be picking up steam in various places so I doubt it will be long before we see more of it here. Gonna hafta to go back to more stringent practices I guess. Sit by myself and distance as best I can. I'm one of the few who wears their masks and wears them properly. It's difficult right now cuz I gotta take oxygen breaks to keep from passing out with this heat and humidity. Have a super day!!
Yeah, I think I'm gonna go back to taking more precautions also. Keeping an eye on the Delta variant numbers here. Our state is one of the lowest in % vaccinated in the country, and our county is even lower than the state. I 'd prefer not to even get a mild case of this stuff. Sorry to hear about your added car expenses. It is always something, isn't it.
Always. Thank goodness God blesses us in other ways. Otherwise I'd have nothing to look forward to each day. LOL
Got my car back $1300 later. *rolls eyes* Off for the weekend and hiding from the fireworks. Apparently I was naughty (by accident) and changed my name to one name. Waiting to be given a new name. Hope I don't get sent to the principles office. *Grins* Very sorry for any inconvenience Ken. I honestly didn't know better.
LOL @Beth Gallagher Morning SOC crew! I have to order groceries to be delivered today but other than that my agenda is free for doing laundry and dishes. I need to finish my coffee and go shower and get my day going so I can get my groceries cuz I don't know if they're doing deliveries tomorrow or not. I'll be back later!
