The threads are not merged. The thread that @Craig Swanson started was started in the photos section, and the one that Hal started is here in the recreation section. I am not quite sure what Craig is referring to either. I read back through both threads, and all that I can see is that Beth did mention the link for this thread in the thread that Craig started, so maybe that is why he thought they had been merged. Since that one is just a photo thread, and this one is a discussion thread, I did not merge the two threads, and maybe I caused more confusion by not merging them.

Yvonne that link was like telling me not to post in my new thread but in the old thread. I saw it as being bossy. Beth Galagher likes being bossy.. dont think she ever liked me from the first day I joined. @Yvonne Smith
I think that you were reading WAY to much into Beth’s post, Craig. Whenever we get two threads on the same topic and someone notices, we post a link to the other thread. Most of the time, when that happens, either Ken or I will merge the threads into one thread. Since your thread was only to show pictures of swimming pools, and not an actual discussion thread, I didn’t merge them, but @Beth Gallagher totally did the right thing to bring it to our attention, so that everyone could see both threads . Obviously, people posted in both threads for some time after Beth mentioned the link to the existing thread. Furthermore, your comment that Beth is bossy is very RUDE and totally uncalled for. If you don’t want to be friendly with someone, that is your business, but rude comments will be deleted.
That is the impression she has given me since I joined. If I am wrong about you Beth.. I apologize. I wanna be friends with every Boomer on this site as it is the best forum I have been on. @Yvonne Smith I feel my pool thread is better off defunct now.
Since it seems to be an issue for you, @Craig Swanson ; I went ahead and merged the two threads. Your thread is not defunct, and has never been defunct . Truthfully, you and Holly and Beth are the only ones on the forum with an in-ground pool, (that I can think of) Most of us do not even have one of those plastic above-ground pools; so there is just not a lot of pictures to be posted of pools, of any kind.
I just figured is best defunct as. as you say few members have in ground pools so there will be little posting there. I'd like to see Beth's pool.
@Craig Swanson , popped me????? I didn't feel a thing. And I'm never cranky. A bit bitchy from time to time, maybe, but never cranky!
