The radical Islamist terror groups have killed far more of the Muslim faith than any other religion. ISIS/ISIL, Boko Haram, al Queda, Taliban... Each of these have their own brand of Islam and will kill fellow Muslims who do not follow the exact same teachings as do they.
Each of these radical terror groups are sworn to wipe out anyone on the face of the Earth that does not adhere to their religious beliefs... by any means possible. Those who martyr themselves with explosive vests and kill innocents are held as heroes. Those who behead, rape, pillage, burn... are their leaders. We who have been born and raised in civilized cultures simply cannot comprehend humans preying on other humans as to these terrorists.
If there is a glimmer of hope it is the recent downing of a Russian passenger plane and the Paris massacre. Now, instead of the World sitting back and expecting the U.S. to solve all ills, we are seeing more and more countries enter the fight to stop the Islamic terrorists. France, who has allowed unchallenged immigration of Muslims is now breaking down doors and cleaning house. Belgium... the same. England is now considering becoming more involved and may soon begin attempting to sort out the radicals from their own population. Of course, as more and more safe havens are raided it will be just like a hornets nest. They will spread their evil to other countries in an attempt to take more lives of "infidels".
We can sit behind our keyboards and type ream after ream about how our government should have done more or should have had a better/different strategy or is not hard enough on radicalized Muslims. All our jawing does nothing towards solving the issue. We had a large majority of our citizenry want us out of our longest wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are tired of seeing our own sons and daughters sent to die in an attempt to change a thousands year old culture... with their hands ties due to the Geneva Convention and the Rules of Engagement. So, how can we help?
We can get off our couches and help elect those who will not be obstructionists... who will not be partisan hacks... and work together to strengthen our resolve to defeat this cancer to humanity. It will do us no good to simply elect those who bang the drum of war, but have no idea how to win this type of conflict. We must work diligently to question those wanting elected to office, not about their goals of repealing everything this President has done, but EXACTLY how they propose defeating radical Islam across the globe. Our health insurance programs or our union wages or our relationship with Wall Street or our opinions on the 2nd Amendment won't mean a thing if we have fallen victim to nerve gas attacks and mall bombings and main street massacres here at home. The ability to forge solid relationships with the other nations in danger of ISIS terrorism should be the first requirement of a new President. We MUST develop a resolve to assist towards the solution. If we do nothing but condemn our own... if we do nothing but add to the divisiveness... we have furthered the ability of the radicals to make inroads in our own communities.

Yes indeed. Before we began involving ourselves in their wars, they were almost exclusively killing one another.

Seeing news items about teachers who assign a class to make isil recruiting posters, learn a song about isil, or dress like a muslim simply enrages me to no end. When these "teachers" are asked to explain their actions, they always have some lame excuse.
I do not for a minute believe it was done out of ignorance or for any other reason. It was done on purpose and the offending teacher should be removed from a teaching position and be put under full investigation. If the schools and teachers want to teach about muslims and isil, they should show the photographs of the beheadings and the mass executions done in the name of islam.

Not only are these things done on purpose but they are done to fulfill an agenda. The problem goes beyond the individual teachers, who are merely playing their part in a much larger agenda. Yes, they should be fired for being willing to play such a role, but the problem is that those charged with providing oversight are following the same agenda.

I beg your pardon, it seems that you are talking of teachers in the US? Am I correct on my assumption? That is unthinkable. I don't think those teachers have the right to teach those things in class, that's tantamount to espousing violence since ISIS is a violent group. Perhaps it's about time that the government starts cleaning the surroundings. Begin with those teachers who are adherents of ISIS. But first, declare ISIS as one group or organization that uses violent means to achieve their goals. That done, isolate all the Muslims in one state and let us see.

Yes, the source is much further up than the teachers. All the way up to the white house, perhaps.
