Getting the costumes ready (Darth Vader and his Stormtrooper) Wife's Stormtrooper costume doesn't use any batteries, but mine does. We make sure that those batteries are the Eveready Lithium "long lasting" type. That way I don't have to worry about being somewhere, with the costume on, and the batteries start going low or die. Don't want any of the lights on my costume to go out. Vader without lights on his belt and chest would be a tragedy!

One thing I'm going to do this year, that I didn't last year and got into trouble for it (fell), is leave my helmet off until some someone wants a picture of me. Found out. the hard way, that I really can't walk around with the helmet on. If there are not steps to go down, I could possibly wear the helmet. But, even with no steps, I have to be careful walking with the helmet on.

Already have our motel room reserved for the night of the party.

Will have a couple of "dress rehearsals" in the costumes before that weekend. Actually, we are both very impressed at how we look with the costumes on.
