Hi everyone! I wanted to let y'all know that as of this past Thursday I am enrolled in Hospice. I know this is going to make many of you think I'll be dying real soon...but only God knows when He is taking me Home... remember this. My middle daughter is a Hospice Nurse and since I do not want to go to the Cancer specialists anymore, or have any more scans, etc. I am eligible for what is called palliative care from Hospice now. A Nurse will come once or twice a week right now since I am still able to do everything for myself and am not having any pain or other probmatic symptoms with the cancer at this time. I will still take my hormone inhibitor because I am having no side effects that bother me...and because this keeps my estrogen down which is what makes my cancer grow. I wanted to enroll in Hospice as soon as it was possible because of the pallative care and the medical team, etc. coming to me instead of my having to go to them. From now on I also will not have any copays for anything...not even hospitalization if I should need that. But that is what I am trying to avoid too by going on Hospice now. So I don't want y'all to think I'm at death's door because that is not all Hospice is about... although they are wondering during that time too.
I also want y'all to know that if their are any of you with enquiring minds like me...that I will be happy to talk about anything you might be curious about. Anything.
@Babs Hunt , I sincerely hope that you are here and in good shape for a long time. But do you have a way to let us know when you leave this home and go to your heavenly home?
Yes Shirley...my youngest daughter has promised me she will let y'all know and I can trust her to do that.
Sorry people I am doing fine. Been doing a lot of heavy research on what many are calling Obamagate! The truth is finally coming out and I just read on Twitter a short time ago that all the bad guys have lawyered up! Plus I'm doing research on this virus which I feel was intentionally used as a bio weapon. Being under stay at home orders has given me plenty of time to spent researching...which is one of my favorite pastimes. Health wise I still have no pain, a healthy appetite which has allowed me to gain a few pounds back from all the ones I lost. My vitals are all normal and I'm still having no real side effects from the hormone inhibitor. God wakes me up each morning and I tell Him thank You every morning...and then I pretty much spend my days doing what I feel like doing. Hope everything is going well with all of you too.
