Well, It is not quite the movie "Unstoppable" but it is amazing what you do with your little flying machine. I like it!
It is indeed amazing ! A good example of what a united community can do. Perhaps though, I might be a little short sighted and do not know all the facts, but why didn’t they build the barn where it eventually landed to begin with? Maybe a dowry for a new son-in-law. “You marry my daughter and I’ll give ya a barn in the bargain” kind of thing. I mean, what kind of Amish guy could refuse that?
We went to Disney world several times when I lived in Georgia, but never in summer. I always felt like my pocket was being picked as soon as we walked through the gate. I was never a fan, and I never understood how the "yankees" form up north could stand in lines for hours in the July heat. We couldn't/wouldn't do it and we were used to that heat and humidity.
Yeah, we took our kids twice. The last time was over 25 years ago so I can't imagine how bad it must be now.
I took the grandkids maybe 5 years ago. Technology is big now. You can find the wait times for all the rides, put in reservations, all sorts of stuff if you know how to work your phone. Fortunately my SIL is a techno wiz. Planning the flights, hotel, car etc was very time consuming trying to find the best deals. We ended up also going to Universal? as my grandson is a Harry Potter nut. It was amazing too. I will NEVER go back.
