Along with all that, he was well known for his clown paintings and a couple of little known facts are that he wrote nearly 4000 songs and something like 8 symphonies. All that and loved it when people called him a “clown”.
He was super talented, I didn't know he did all that. Amazing, hard for most to have one one-hit wonder, but 4000 songs, man. I always watched his shows growing up, we had 2 channels when they were not fuzzy or squiggly vertical lines. Eight symphonies and a painter. Hell of a man.
I haven't seen them all, but he is funny. His expressions are hilarious. Like the one, he asked one of his neighbors, Going to get lottery tickets to want me to pick you some up, the guy said, how much is it up to? Seven million, he said heck, I'm not even gonna mess with that.
Several of the older ones ,Red Skelton, Carol Burnett, and others. But in today times my favorites are Bill Engel, Fluffy, Sinbad, Brad Upton, Chondra Pierce, to name a few.
