Looking for a thread where this interesting information fits, and this one might work. I have just watched a short little video about how long a person’s ring finger is, compared to their index finger, and what it says about your personality , supposedly. I don’t know where they came up with the information of how this works, but it has to do with how much testosterone your mother had when she was pregnant with you, and how the testosterone affected your personality. Hold your hand out straight and see which of the two fingers is longer, or if they are both the same length, and then watch the video to see if you fit the correct description. I am a type A, definitely .
Although I am sure there are some people who are truly unaffectionate, I think the real question is about how affection is displayed. Growing up, my family were not huggers, which is not atypical for the Midwest. Although I have no questions about being loved by my family, I don't recall being hugged. I suppose that I was hugged as a baby, but I don't remember being a baby. Affection was shown in other ways. Type A. My ring finger is quite a bit longer than my index finger.
