Seems I have been sheltering long before this virus came along. But at least then i could go to store. Hubby will not let out now, Can really order to pick up,as Walmart and Tom thumb booked with orders. -for days!
I move around and do what I can before having to set on heating pad because my back keeps cramping up.My hair- what is left of it looks hideous
All the days seem about the same really. Tired of all the depressing news for sure . Oh well, suppose it could be worse;)

If Michelle will come and pick me up, I would LOVE to go shopping with her ! I don’t need anything either, but shopping sounds like fun.

As a guy, I can't say I like shopping, but in the winter when there is nothing much to do, it gets me out of the house.

As a healthy over seventy in the UK are you going to self isolate for months without any means of obtaining food and drugs?

I will go for food once a week instead of two at two different stores. I'll consolidate all my food shopping into one store even though I'll end up paying more in the long run. I'll be halving my exposure in that way. Also, I am constructing a DIY face mask from a dish towel and elastic that I "borrowed" from my underwear briefs. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I'll go for drugs as needed.

I think some of us are getting a taste of what SOLITARY CONFINEMENT in prison would be like.

If we could rely on getting food and essentials, we would feel better - as it is, I feel lost

This whole Virus thing has caused depression and I would expect that suicides would increase.

It will only cause "depression" to those that absolutely don't like staying at home at all. There are Seniors here where we live that are going to hate it that they can no longer go to McDonalds, have coffee and talk inside. Staying at home in wintertime doesn't bother us at all, being that we done that before both when we lived in Florida and when we lived here in Colorado before.

Whom I think you are talking about is the young folks who frequent nightclubs and such.

Oh, wow, Lon, you guys must really be isolated. At least we can leave our apartments. We cannot go shopping nor use the bistro or dining room. Activities still are in operation and we can walk outside in the immediate area. The staff must wear masks and if desired other protective gear. I desire they wear other protective clothing, but not everyone agrees with this. They come in from the outside, carrying lord knows what.

I think it can depend on just how much a person gets out, in the first place. If too much physical fatigue is involved, there are those that must stay inside much more than they'd want to.

We can get out of our apartments and walk the hallways or sit in the lounge area. Our Bistro is also closed. Our weather has been nasty so it's just as well to stay inside, and they are.
