I am looking forward to actual spring, as opposed to calendar spring, which comes while we still have a couple of feet of snow on the ground. This year, I am going to spend some more time at our camp, particularly if this isolation nonsense is still going on. I haven't decided if I'm willing to walk two miles in and two miles out, though, as I've done several times in the past, so I might have to wait until the road dries out enough. I've gotten stuck twice trying to get back there too early.

A lot of that isolation may be lifted today by the President. People, I believe may be able to return to their jobs. Evidently as I suspected, some are resistant to the Virus or simply get a mild form. Just common sense practices should protect most folks if they are reasonably healthy.

I think the isolation was done on a state by state basis by the governors. I doubt the president could force the states to lift isolation orders, but he sure could cause them a lot of grief and chaos, by talking about doing it. Most people don't know who's in charge.

I was just discussing this with my son and he thinks Trump was referring to Federal workers.

One of the strangest things that I have read about the self-isolating, is that people can be arrested for not doing it. Okay........but some states are announcing that they are now letting prisoners be released so that they do not get the virus in jail.
Does this make sense to anyone ?
We let the criminals go, but arrest non-criminals and put them in jail ....... who came up with that plan ?

I just heard on the local news that NY wants to send some of its prisoners to PA due to overcrowding. NY is ground zero for the pandemic. We get enough of their undesirables the way it is without that.

I live in a nice 800 sq. ft. apartment that can make you feel very isolated if it were not for my Media Center & reading.

I can imagine the Governor of PA getting goosebumps over that one. Most likely the hair on the back of his neck will stand up. Our governor in NJ has closed all businesses except for the necessities. Of course liquor stores can remain open. The governor's name is Murphy. Speaks for itself.
