So, I guess that I can interpret that comment to mean that my posts are looking exceptionally nice now, with the new classy avatar that I just put up ? I am so glowing with happiness that you noticed......
So true, Yvonne, but nothing beats that avatar showing you on horseback in the "prairie" wearing a cowboy hat.
I think you must mean this one, and it IS an awesome picture, but I think it is something from some movie, and is not me, just a picture that I found which reminded me of my younger days and one of the horses that I had, a black Arabian . He was an Egyptian bloodline, pure black, with a white strip on his face, and he had a long unpronounceable registered name; but we called him “Hot Wheels” , and he was an incredibly exciting horse to ride. When I look at this avatar picture, I can almost “feel the horse” again , and wish I still could have one.
Yes, exactly. I never saw it as a full picture and I wasn't aware that it doesn't show you but if it reminds you of happy days when you had your own horse, it's OK. Isn't there another avatar showing you on horseback wearing no hat (together with another girl) so I vaguely remember? If not, do you have a pic with your horse or on horseback? Hot Wheels may have looked like Fury then?
I too thought there was another picture of you in cowboy hat and it sure looked like you @Yvonne Smith
Maybe this one, which is from about 2002 when I first met Bobby online and took a webcam picture of me to send to him. It is old and fuzzy, so I am not sure if I ever posted it before or not.
If you haven't uploaded an avatar, please do. It doesn't have to be a photo, but an image of some kind - even a solid color.
@Bess Barber I believe it is time to change mine.......persistent views create stale news. Whaddaya think? Frank
Thank you , @Patsy Faye ! When I got the iMac about a month ago, I was playing around with it and getting used to an actual computer again, and it had a web cam, so I decided to try it out and see how well it took pictures. It turned out pretty good, so I added a nice background (instead of the back of my chair), and here it is ! It looked like many of us were using an actual photo, so I decided to do that, too.
