CNN did better than I expected. Biden got more rebuttals than Trump did but I think that this worked in Trump's favor. While Biden stayed awake, except for one moment early on, and he didn't ramble as much as he usually does, whenever he cited what he wanted us to believe were facts or statistics, he made no sense at all. Although it was one of Biden's better appearances, he didn't look good as compared to Trump.

Gavin Newsome was in the crowd. This was all planned. Biden's lack of capacity has certainly been know by those who are pulling the strings. Let's see if they can make the country demand that Biden be replaced, thus taking it out of their hands.

I saw bits and pieces of the debate last night but combed through a myriad of YouTube videos this morning which all declared that the Biden campaign is finished, done, over etc.

Between his early gaffe where he said he beat covid (rambling) uh medicare to his constant “empty head” stares to the juxtaposing of abortion and immigration, maybe the DNC needs to really start searching for a new candidate.
Dunno. The only way the DNC can replace Joe is to convince him to step aside but otherwise, he’s going to be the candidate at the convention in a couple of months.

From what I saw of the debate and the videos, he appeared to be like an old actor who couldn’t remember his lines. A lot of what he said seemed rehearsed but there was no delivery, no certainty and no strength in his words or countenance.

Today it already feels like there's an air of "Let Us Never Speak Of This Again" in the media. Maybe it was all a dream?

the debate is not even debatable - Biden is clearly not going to be able to handle the job. We all are in deep poo :(

Biden has already announced that he is going to have another debate in September, so clearly, he believes that he did fine last night. There are videos out showing some of the most unintelligible things that Biden said, like when he was all mixed up about covid and defeating medicare, and Trump was just looking at him , trying to figure out what Biden is even trying to say.
At one point, Trump even said that he didn’t think that Biden knew what he was saying, and another time, Trump called him “Brandon”.

One thing about this debate, it has opened the eyes for a lot of people who have actually thought that Biden was okay cognitively, and they are seeing his dementia for the first time, and realizing that he is not capable of being president.
If they rig the election another time, NO ONE is going to believe that Biden actually got the 81 million votes to win, and it will be obvious that there was election fraud.

My goodness, it’s a given that Trump is old but I hadn’t noticed that he is forgetful too.

I saw a bit of the debate without sound in an airport restaurant. Biden looked terrible even without the words. No idea what was said, and I didn't intend to see it.

Even lefty commentators on TV today were saying Biden should step down. I'm thinking he wants another term so he can pardon Hunter when the time comes. Trump will let Hunter fry.

But that's for the good of the party, not for the good of the nation.

Breaking: Obama and Ron Klain visiting White House to hold intervention
(Ron Klain was Biden's Chief of Staff until last year)
    • Obama travels to White House to intervene
    • Kamala upset she's not being considered as a replacement
    • Jill insistent on Biden remaining the nominee

Some are saying his debate performance showed many how debilitated he is, and many Democrats are frightened that so many now realize we have a mental cripple in the White House. I think many already knew that he was being the front man for the Progressive establishment headed (probably) by Obama or some of his cronies.
