I don't think we are in the minority, but we are thwarted at every attempt to make things better dating back at least to Nixon, who was the first President I know of who rewarded companies for moving offshore and taking their jobs and money with them. Reagan helped to stop that a bit, but it wasn't a real serious problem until Clinton got China into the WTO with most-favored nation status and environmental exemptions as a "developing nation". That started the rapid decline of the U.S., as China didn't play by the same rules as Germany and Japan, who we paid to rebuild their economies and who subsequently became our biggest competitors. The Bushes were New World Order people, but didn't really do a lot of damage until "W" invaded Iraq, which was such a financial drain on the nation that we haven't (and never will) recover. Obama was bad, mostly with trying to shut down resource development and selling our energy to China, as well as subsidizing Iran to promote terrorism around the world, then killing people with drones like it was a video game he was playing in the basement. Trump did a lot to interrupt the progress of the decline and that was largely why the Establishment was so against him. If he had been able to operate as other presidents have, he would have solved a lot of our problems, but, alas, that was not to be. Now we have the most destructive administration in the history of the country going strong to destroy the nation before they can be stopped, with propaganda venues that have never been available, even to the Nazis or the Soviets.
Our complete vulnerability to propaganda is the worst facet of being a consumer culture in a world with ubiquitous, myriad forms of media. Advertisers create our buttons and then they push them. I guess we were the first generation to get pitched to from birth, right in our own homes. And the techniques work for everything from cereal to underwear to cars to politicians to worldviews. I don't believe there has ever been a culture that is more easily and universally manipulated. Of course, no "regular Joe" has ever had access to unfiltered facts, globally or locally. We've always been played, and now "they" are unconcerned enough to not worry too much about pretenses. Cronkite was trusted, but not trustworthy. As an aside, I've often wondered if any of the thousands of talking heads within all of the local stations ever have moments of introspection.
It is no secret that the government pays Billions of dollars to the media buying ads to promote things (e.g., health and vaccination, conservation, social services programs, etc.) It is also no secret that this revenue stream can greatly influences what news directors will and will not allow to be aired/printed. Ad revenues carry a big stick, as do media-related government bureaucracies when the public lets them get away with it.
I have also read that the drug companies hold controlling interests in most of the media, so when we see all the drug ads, they are actually paying themselves to advertise their product, not to mention controlling what is said about their products on the news.
Heck, I read an article pointing out that the front row of White House press conferences is occupied by representatives of the networks that are all gonna offer Psaki a job when she vacates the position she has.
And on the lighter side, who is the first lady’s husband? And more importantly, who is the first lady? It shouldn’t be a “guess” situation because everyone here is smart enough to know the answers to those questions but nope, you’re all wrong! I guess Kamala Harris is now…..the First Lady! Did Joe suddenly become Mormon? No, he just doesn’t know what he’s saying. https://www.dailywire.com/news/bide...contracted-covid-has-to-be-reminded-thats-him
"Now is a time when things are shifting. We're going to - there's going to be a New World Order out there, and we've got to lead it." -- Joe Biden (March 22, 2022)
Here's a link to an American Thinker article on that. The question is...is that audience (high-powered execs) on board?
Since Hunter may be getting indicted soon, may the RICO investigation of Joe is coming. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...concerned-hunter-bidens-going-indicted-video/
Joni Mitchell wrote and sang a song called “Yellow Taxi” whereby the key lyrics are, “They paved paradise and put up a parking lot” and “you just don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”. It is said that she wrote the song about the trees and landscape that were demolished to put up a hotel in Hawaii all in the name of progress. Whilst during the previous administration wasn’t paradise by any stretch, our economy was booming, the border was on the right track to being secure, we were quickly becoming energy independent, the Caliphate in the Middle East was destroyed thereby ending the ISIS reign of terror, no war between Russia and any other country, no American soldier was killed by the Taliban for 2 years, our troops were coming home safely and the list goes on. All good stuff. In the last 2 years, this new administration has destroyed all that was good from the last administration. It’s all gone. All in the name of progressivism. Dunno. I guess I’m just re-writing what has already been written but thinking back to what was and now what isn’t makes me think that perhaps we did have a bit of paradise compared to what we all are experiencing for indeed, the list of blessings to count is getting shorter and shorter. You just don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.
I don't hear a lot of rebuttal by those that chose the half wit duo. Wish I was a bird perched upon the roof beam of a gas station in any swing state, just looking down at all the happy campers when they fill up.
I’m still waiting for any proposed candidate to stand up and say that the racial and gender limitations that are in place to qualify for a candidacy for the Supreme Court is Constitutionally illegal. In my book, if none of them acknowledge that the limitations are wrong then none of them qualify for the Supreme Court. If and when one of these ladies becomes a Supreme Court Justice then a precedence will have been set on a Federal Level thereby allowing any and all businesses, state and federal departments to rely on that precedent to discriminate against any gender, color of skin, religious belief or creed in their hiring policies. Moreover, to me it would be impossible for SCOTUS to hear any case dealing with discrimination when part of their own was picked based on a discriminatory process.
Just imagine ... If Trump would have stood up and stated ....he was going to nominate a white male for USSC !!!
