Democrat presidents don't need Congress anymore. It's a rule, not a law.

Meanwhile, each of those homeless apartments in Cali costs upward of 1 million bucks to build.

AOC says that Biden can just ignore the Supreme Court so if that’s true, the Constitution is no longer legitimate ergo neither is Congress.

I believe that is the strategy behind much of this. Blackrock reportedly has a huge fund entitled "junk real estate" or something along those lines, set aside to buy up defaulted mortgages. They see the crash that is coming and hope to cash in long term as so many other investments have failed to yield expected returns.

That Constitutional Scholar that is AOC may realize that Congress has ceded so much of its Constitutional power to the Executive Branch that it may, in fact, be the case.

…and unfortunately, due to something called the Chevron Deference, federal agency regulations can carry the full weight of law. What is especially bothersome is that the SCOTUS has had opportunities to gut that abomination and put law making back with the legislature but they have side stepped the opportunity. So, Congress does diddly squat and federal agencies spew out rules and regulations by the thousands.

Under Obama, Congress took a vacation and ceded it all to the Executive and Judicial branches. The Executive branch made regulations and the Judicial branch was forced to make law.

In other words….it ain’t changed much.

"Decent" is the operative word here. Most are not conservative in the real sense. They just talk the talk until elected, then retire to the back bench and let the Left go wild. A Trump-DeSantis ticket would be a powerhouse and I think they would keep each other in line. With that Executive order Trump signed before leaving office, he could fire most of the Deep State if he got re-elected. If he did away with the EPA, the Federal Reserve (not Federal and no reserves) and the Department of Education, it would make great strides to correct things. It would be increasing the unemployment in a good way.

Maybe this little item doesn’t seem to belong here but it’s happening within the Biden administration so maybe it does.

Pete Buttigieg, Biden’s secretary of transportation, is asking Congress for $25M so he can have female crash dummies.
Granted, men and women are generally built differently depending on whom one asks, but that isn’t the reason for the addition in crash dummy land.
From what I was listening to, the lady said it was for “equity” to which I am asking….huh?

It’s not like they’re hiring live humans for vehicle impact tests…they’re dummies. They have even less to show they are males than the Ken doll but I guess that since they do not have breasts, they’re classified as males so the women of this world are somehow feeling slighted.
All that said, why does it cost 25M beans to duct tape a couple of 38DD’s (or whatever) on a crash dummy?

Maybe Pete should first strap the lactating artificial mammaries he was seen using on a crash dummy just to see how that works.

What’s next? Trans crash dummies, crash dummies of color or maybe even tall gray aliens in preparation for extraterrestrial visitors?

Makes about as much sense as a $500 hammer or a $1000 toilet seat.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to simply say that the ones we have identify as females?
