As a kid (way before the term "binge reading") I devoured all the Nancy Drew books. Later, in my 20s and 30s I binged on everything Sidney Sheldon wrote.

My daughter read the Trixie Beldon books so I read most of those. I'm not sure why I didn't read much Nancy Drew but loved the Box Car Children and read them all.

I too read all Sidney Sheldon's books many years ago. I also have read most of Anne Tyler's books. Right now I'm reading all of Anthony Peaks books, which are non-fiction. Usually between each book I'll read a light fiction book to give my brain a rest. :) I don't sleep well so I use a flashlight and read in bed a few hours most nights.

I read all of the Hardy Boys books, which were the boy's equivalent to Nancy Drew, I think.

I do tend to binge-read certain authors. Many have been mentioned in this thread. I mostly read non-fiction these days and one of my favorite authors is Elizabeth Berg. I have also always loved Stephen King stories, though some of them are not as good as others. (And his politics are cringey.)

One of the things that I do is follow favorite authors on Amazon, and check through their pages fairly often, because some of them will mark books way down for a few days so they can sell more and probably get more new reviews. Some authors never mark down their books, but quite a few of them do put one on sale for a short time, and that is when I add to my Kinlde book collection.
I also use Bookbub and BookGorilla, which send me lists every day of the kinds of books I am interested in and that Amazon has on sale that day.

I liked books on history or humor, bought everyone of Grizzard's books, also liked Mark Twain.
